To clean hard drive or not?

I just deleted a windows partition I had on my MacBook. I am wondering if I need to format or clean it up in some way to make my MacBook perform better or is this not necessary?

I haven't noticed a performance difference but I was wondering if I should do something similar to disk defragmenter for windows?

How did you delete the Windows partition? If you used the Boot Camp Assistant to remove it, you won't have to do anything.

Thank you for the replies. I did use the Boot Camp assistant so I guess I'm lucky! :)
