Digital Camera become Webcam?

ibook G4 12 inch running mac os 10.4 with: 60 gb HD+256 mb ram+Radeon 9200
Could I possibly make my digital camera work as a webcam for iChat AV or at least third-party webcam software?

MacBook: 2GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HD; PowerTower Pro (300MHz G3 clone): 608MB RAM, 10GB HD
If its a digital video camera with firewire that is supported by iMovie it will work in iChat with no drivers needed. If it i a digital still camera it will probably not work, or if it does you will need some kind of software hack.
