Help: I can't open MS Office files located on my mac partition when I'm on Windows Pa

When I'm on my windows partition trying to open Office docs on my mac partition, it gives me this error,

"Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try these suggestions.
* Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
* Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disc space.
* Open the file with the Text Recovery converter."

However, when I'm running virtual windows while on mac in VMWare, these files open fine and when I drag these files from the mac partition to the windows partition and open then, they also open fine.

How do I get it to open documents on the mac partition from my windows partition?

When using VMWare Fusion "sharing" is on by default and Fusion will automatically open the file for you. However, when you dual boot to Windows and running Windows natively, Windows can not access the file on the Mac side without third party driver support. You need MacDrive.
