A few months back I upgrade from my MacBook's original 60gb HDD to a 320gb HDD. I still have the old HDD though and it works perfectly fine so I wanted to install it as secondary by removing my superdrive. Anyways could I transfer the applications i need from it (iMovie, iPhoto etc.) to a USB and then partition the HDD to Boot Linux Mint 12 and Windows 8 completely removing OS X from that HDD. Could I do this and then choose the HDD I want to boot at start up and then choose the OS i want to boot from the secondary HDD? I tried running boot camp for Windows8 but it tried to erase OS X and I don't wan't it taking up the rest of my free space for OS X. Thanks in advance :)
