Is it possible to put a password on a folder file? I am a photographer and want that extra line of security. Or is there another way? After I use Photoshop, I place my keepers in a separate folder (outside of PS for quick access).
I bought my first iMac last year. Unbelievable.

Welcome to the forums.

Are you the sole user of your Mac , in which case all this " extra line of security " is not needed if you log into your machine with a password and keep that password secret.

If really needed , you can use such tools and protect folders/data with passwords.
I am not experienced with that, but some people around here are.

Also, .... use the search function because this question has been asked ( and answered ) before -_-

Cheers ... McBie
