Hi all,
recently (this week) bought a Lacie Quadra 1TB external hard drive.
So I read the manual and followed the instructions about formatting the drive and I did as I was told. It works fine - only problem is that when I open it (double click from the desktop icon) it doesn't behave like a normal finder window - every time I double click a folder a NEW window opens. I don't have any of the normal finder icons or buttons - just a plain old window (see attached pic).
I bought this as a replacement for my old old old Lacie which worked perfectly (i.e. behaved like a proper Mac finder window).
Some of my VERY old cds full of fonts behave like this and I forgive them - but a BRAND NEW drive ???
Any ideas on how I can sort this out ?
