So I want to charge my phone overnight as I sleep and leave it on my nightstand, but the cord that comes with the phone is waayy too small to reach my outlet.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good extension USB cord so that I can charge my phone overnight.

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

Presumably an iPhone? How long does it need to be?

Yeah sorry, forgot to mention that. It's an iPhone 4s. I'm sure 3 feet would do, assuming it adds onto the cable that came with the phone...

Thanks for the help.

I have found that in most cases USB extenders (especially for powered devices) do not work or at best are intermittent. There are special USB extenders sold for powered devices but in my opinion are not worth the $ they sell for. Buy an AC cord extension for the charger. It's cheaper and will work.
