• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

When I open an Imovie project and click play, the image is frozen The audio plays but the video doesn't. This all happened after some unkown reason 2 video clips, clip#1,#5 and #7 went black. The clip is there and the audio which was added later is ok but the clip is black.
The most bizarre thing is that if I open Project#1, click close window, open an existing movie, choose Project #2 when it opens the last picture from Project #1 is on the screen frozen with Project #2 opened. this has never happend before. The scrubbers and playhead move. It seems to really be screwy with the video.

No I did not. What I did was to start the whole project over. Very weird. Very frustrating. The other problem while importing a vhs tape I Movie stops importing at 19:54.06. I have looked in preferences uncheck start new frame but still no good. So I have to monitor the tape. Oh well, Life in the computing world.
