Installing Scanner

I have an HP Scanner 6300c and I plugged it in to my computer and nothing happened I dont have any software for it and HP doesnt have any drivers listed for it on their website. I dont know what to do. Any Help?

If the scanner is not supported in OSX and there are no drivers for it, the only way I can think of is a program called Vuescan.

It has worked with every scanner that has no OSX drivers that I have tried.

I just looked. I have that scanner. I will try it when I get back from shopping and get back to you. It's on my P4 but I used it on the Mac with VueScan. Worked perfectally.

It is a Pay program but the only thing that works that I have found. You can get a trial and see if it works for you. It did for me.

I tried VueScan with the HP 6300c and it works perfectally.
