wireless with an old emac?

I currently use my ibook with a mifi wireless (verizon). I have an old emac set up and i'm wondering if it's possible to use it anymore? It doesn't have a built in airport. I do have a router but so far no go. This is all new to me since we have now moved to a remote area. No DSL or anything.

lowendmac.com says that an emac will support an airport extreme card 802.11g. Here is the link for the complete details. eMac 1.25 GHz (USB 2.0)
