Does anyone think apple will ever bring back the White MacBook?

I love mine .. had it since 2008, its still working amazingly .. hasnt slowed down at all. Its just that I might want a new one after maybe 3 more years maybe less.. cuz the ram is kinda low and the screen is washed out a bit ( but i did calibrate it a bit ) .. i just would like a newer white macbook, like the older ones use to be , but with the new displays

Way... way too many specs to list.
Highly doubt it. Although if they're going for the way-back machine.. I'd prefer a clamshell. k-thx-bye.

Nope - the MBA is the new MB. I don't see that changing.

A colleague showed up the other day at our informal Starbucks meeting with a Pink Sony Vaio. He took a lot of ribbing about it and said he had to borrow it from his wife as his machine was in the shop. Yeah right, was the unanimous response. Another white MacBook? No thanks. I'll take black or aluminum. ;D

I think the aluminum MBP/MBA is a work of art and apparently so do a lot of the competition
they have imitated it as close as they can.

What kind of pink are we talking about here? :p I also like the aluminum. It scratches easily though. >_<"

If you’re just talking outside appearance, I don’t think we’ll see any variation of the current all-aluminum style for a couple/few years. But eventually it will get very boring and stale, and Apple will need to provide a fresh new look. IMHO it already is feeling a little tired, especially with all the same-but-different competing computers flooding the market.

I don't think many people thought "bellbottoms" would come back in style...but they did!:(

Who knows...some day...maybe the White Apple laptop will return.:)

Too many...
It could definitely come back, but just because it comes back does not mean it will be the same material. I doubt Apple would bring it back being exactly the same as the last model.

For me nothing beats the Powerbook G4. It's keyboard is so much better for me than either my Air or Pro.

Guess we each have our preferences.

I don't see a problem with bringing the white MacBook back, to be perfectly honest, because I love that color. I would have gotten it, but the MacBook's specifications are way lower than the MacBook Pro's, and I also prefer 15" over 13" screens, which is why I got this Aluminum MacBook Pro and I am SUFFERING from the scratches that randomly pop up every now and then. With every scratch, my heart tears, because I spent a lot of money on that notebook and want it to look good. And YES, I have a case for it.

I personally don't like the MacBook Air, might be good for people that don't want to carry around a bigger laptop, but without the ability to upgrade the ram, no optical drive, ethernet port, etc really doesn't appeal to me at all.

I personally think Apple should bring back the Macbook with say an Intel Core i3 and sell it at a cheaper price than before, sorta like the Mini's portable match.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't think they will bring it back the same style, maybe the name macbook could come back. I think aluminum unibody is here to stay for a while. Who knows, the good things usually do come back in style!

They won't be bringing that back. Maybe the black but I doubt it.
