Hello all. Having got a new Mac since I do photography, I figured I would play with the Sb700 and D300s last night.

Here is what I cam up with:

Very nice!
I am envious both of the Mac and your D300s. :)

CTB with a low-power pop bounced off the back of the monitor?

Nice! :)

Srry! I do not know what CTB is short for! lol

I used a SB700 speed flash. I triggered it wirelessly with Nikon's CLS system. The speed flash was placed behind the computer, facing the wall. I put a blue gel over the head to cool the light color.

Then in post, I brought the screen brightness up to a normal-high brightness. My shutter speed did not let much of the screens light into the sensor, so it was quite dim.

Actually more than a bit off topic, but my opinion FWIW:

With few exceptions glass is more important than the body. If you have an investment in Canon lenses, why switch?
If you don't, by all means visit your local camera store and play with the new models and then pick the one YOU like best.
