I did at first, informing the world where I'm going and what I'm doing multiple times in the day, not my cup of tea.
I did start using it though, for news only tho. I follow espn, fox, certain apple sites, a very short list of actual people, the drudge report, washington post, huffington post, and some others. Just scroll through and save the articles i want to read and then bam right to the URL.
Thats the extent of my twitter usage.

My twitter feed is pretty much just a news feed of apple/design related stuff. I myself see no need to constantly tell the world what I'm doing :p

I was exactly the same... I signed up out of sheer curiosity and my first (and only, for a long time) tweet was, "What's the point in this?". After a while I gave it another go and started following people, companies, blogs etc of things I was interested in. Now, I think it's great. Each to their own though, I know a lot of people who hate it but, from my experience, most of those haven't spent more than their first confused minute on it.

It is much easier than Facebook. You just type the words you want to spread then the job is done. No much hassle indeed.

Facebook = you write a status, and people comment and like and you can have conversations etc.

Twitter = you write a status.
