Your Mac's Specs
Early 2008 MacBook, 13.3/2.4GHz/2x1GB/Originally 160GB Upgraded to 250GB/SD-DL
What are some good graphic design programs for an amateur graphic artist? It is preferred that the program be less than 75 dollars. I am familiar with the graphic design programs Corel Painter 11, Picnik, openCanvas, Picasa, GIMP, and Adobe PhotoDeluxe. I do not want a 3D graphic design program. What are your recommendations?

Have you looked at Pixelmator.
Excellent program, several other people on this forum also recommend it highly.
