Folks:

My sister is getting closer and closer to a Mac, thank goodness. She has LOTs of I-tunes purchases she had burned to CD then ripped to WMA, cause she likes all her stuff in one product. So what should she do if she gets a Mac? How can she convert all the unlicensed mp3s and--most importantly--her licensed songs from her XP machine to her new Mac?

Thanks!

iTunes music can be put onto up to (i think) 5 machines. Whenever she transfers her songs over, iTunes will ask her to "authenticate" this machine. She types in her iTunes user name and password, and that's it.

As for the converting all the songs, just put the CD in the Mac's drive and go to iTunes preferences>Advanced>Importing and import in whatever format she wants. (that she can choose from :))
