Will this: Mac OS X v10.6.3 Snow Leopard - Upgrade | PowerMax


will that install cleanly on a new hard drive? do i need previous os discs for it to work on a brand new hard drive that I just got. Snow leopard 10.6.3

the link is for powermax.com thats wheree i found it. I want to know if i get this if it will install nicely without problem. please let me know and thanks so much.

yes 2006 macbook. intel. 160 gb western digital hard drive. brand spankin new. I dont have other os discs so I need to install os on there. I see 10.6.3 on sites for 29.99 does the .3 have to do with anything? please let me know if its possible to install. thanks

The only thing I would query is the heat factor of a 7200rpm drive in a laptop. As a desktop user cannot assist with heat, but after formatting Mac OS Extended and setting up Partition Map as GUID, Snow Leopard will install.
