I installed win 7 32 bit in bootcamp, now I want to reinstall a win 7 64 bit install. Going from win 7 32bit to win 7 64bit requires a nuke and pave so an in place upgrade wont work. Any thoughts how to do a boot camp nuke and pave?

Welcome to the Mac Forums.

I moved your question here in the "Running Windows......." forum where it belongs.

Let's try to answer your question:

When going from 32 bit to 64 bit Win 7 there is no upgrade path as you've found out. So what we'll have to do is remove the BC partition, restore your hard drive and start over. Here's how....

Open the Boot Camp assistant from OS X. Select create partition, select restore. That's all there is to it. The BC assistant will remove the old Win 7 and restore the hard drive partitioning back to 100% OS X.

Reboot the machine, and start over by creating a new partition for Win 7 64 bit. Remember, the 64 bit version needs more space and more memory to run.
