I run both the Magic Mouse and the Magic Trackpad. They work together with no problems.

You just need to make sure the devices have unique names, if they are setup as mymouse and my trackpad or similar then all is good

Bluetooth has a "frequency-jumping" technology in it that prevents conflicts, even though it uses the same 2.4GHz frequencies that some kinds of Wi-Fi use. This same technology also protects multiple BT devices from conflicting with each other.

Right now on my iMac I have a Wired Mighty Mouse plugged in, a Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. Works great with all 3 turned on if I choose to do that. So yes, it will work.
