I have a number of iBooks that I found in a back room. Public school environment. Wanted to find a way to set these up so that students could play around on them in stead of sending them to the warehouse (computer graveyard). We had a Mac server in the building in the past but it has been removed being we are a pc environment now.

Thanks

Read the information at this site. Since those iBooks use a PPC processor, you're limited to versions or ports of Linux which can run on a PPC. The site I linked to above explains what you can do. Also, various Linux forums have mixed information about running Linux on a PPC. I believe the Ubuntu forums have some good information you can scan through.
