Hey everyone,

I just wanted to get some opinions on good display options for a mac mini. Currently mine is connected to my tv but i've decided to use it as a desk-top instead. In a perfect world i would love an apple cinema display but i feel they are a little pricey for what you actually get, maybe i'm wrong!? Any members very pleased with their monitor of choice?

No question that an Apple Cinema Display would be great but for $999.00 most folks are not going to be able to afford it. Shop around for a monitor as there is certainly a wide selection available. Check out Best Buy (if there is one nearby where you live).

I used a Samsung 22" SyncMaster for several years with my MacBook when I had it at home. Very nice monitor and had DVI plus VGA connectors. Most monitors nowadays also have HDMI for even better viewing.

I use a Dell SX2210 with my Mac Mini. It is full HD, has a built in Apple compatible webcam, USB ports, HDMI, etc. I have had zero issues with this screen and it can be had for ~$300
