Hi,

I have 6 external drives I'd like to combine onto one 3TB drive.

The drives contain photos and are partial back-ups of each other.

I'm looking for software recommendations to copy the data from all the drives, while avoiding copying and making duplicate files.

Thanks!

Holy moley! Well… if you haven't managed the backups in a manner that makes it simpler to separate those from the originals, then Tidy Up is the only app I know of offhand that can look for exact clones of files, regardless of how they are named, and flag them for you to review and delete. It's a bit steeply priced at 30 bucks, but if you use it properly (it has a LOT of options) and take reasonable precautions, it will do the trick.
