End of the day and I was very tired. I broke my femur about a month ago and I just don't have my endurance. :(

And NO, I wasn't using MS Office. I refuse to put any of Microsoft crap on OSX I bought Pages and Parallels, nice software!

I am doing VERY well. Monday the 8th will be one month and I will be able to finally put weight on my leg (as tolerated). It had been an amazing experience. I was treated at the University Hospital in Madison. First rate place. I have one TINY scar near my knee where a screw was put in. About an inch log cut in my upper thigh used to hold my femur while reaming the bone. At the top of my hip is a 2 inch long cut where the rod went in. No cast. Just an ace bandage from crouch to ankle. I posted psome pictures here:

It's all good. I'll be back in action very soon!

You're very lucky! My bro broke his femur as a teenager (completely snapped in two) and he was in a cast from crotch to toes for 3 months. Spent the first 3 or 4 weeks living on the couch because he couldn't get up the stairs to his bedroom. That is an awful bone to break. Get better soon! :)

How horrible! I am so thankful I didn't need a cast! I agree, I am VERY lucky!
