I'm new to the apple Mac forum - hopefully I will shortly buy my first apple mac!

Could someone please explain to me what thunder bolt is and why is it an advantage to have a thunder bolt socket at the back of the all in one mac computer.

Also I noticed that apple are Releasing a new thunder built high resolution screen is this something to do with the thunder built socket?

Is it a double edge sword faster Internet and better resolution - if so do you need super fast Internet access ???? :Confused:
