Using speaker while running windows

I have an Imac (early 2009) and I run windows XP under fusion, I had a network with a PC, but the PC died and had to unplug it from net. Now when I run windows in the Imac there is no sound, I am planning to hook up the speakers that I used in the PC in the back of the Imac, will this work?

When I am in the Mac the internal speaker they function fine it is only when I am in the Windows side that there is no sound
