Review: Mac OS X Lion

macosxlion-review.jpg
Some have argued that Apple faced its first major challenge on the desktop in some time when Windows 7 arrived; how do you improve your interface when Microsoft managed to tackle many gripes in one fell swoop and arguably had its best release ever? Apple's answer in Mac OS X Lion is to take a cue from an even simpler interface on the iPad. But is this the way of the future, or an instance of company synergy run amok? We'll see in our Mac OS X Lion review if Apple's made a smart bet and if Microsoft has to catch up once more....

No contest. Microsoft has been playing catch up and copy for years. Yes, Windows 7 was their best OS since DOS 6.22 but in my opinion still had a way to go to come up to par with Snow Leopard.

It's not hard to have your best release when your previous several have been pretty mundane (or down-right crummy).

In what ways does Windows 7 have allot of catching up to do with Snow Leopard? Just curious as a user of both.

May God bless.

Ed;)
