printer alignment in osx 10.4

I have had a epson stylus photo r200 for a year now and ever since i bought it, the text or image on the paper prints out diagonally is there anyway i can fix this? as im starting my 2nd year very soon of university and will need it.

It sounds like the printer is way out of alignment, possibly because of a bad roller mechanism.

If you've tried the Epson alignment software (downloadable from Epson's site) and it's still bad, it may be time for a new printer.
