I am considering purchasing an AirPort Extreme Base Station. I want to make sure I understand the USB plug correctly.

I would like to put a 1 or 2 TB USB drive on the Base Station and use it as a Time Machine backup.

This should be ok???? Correct???

Thanks
Monty

Yes, you can also put a USB Hub and plug 2 drives and and printer also I am told.

It will work fine for what you want to do.
