This is more of a general question than a troubleshooting issue but here goes.
I have the older Apple bluetooth wireless keyboard (three battery version). This keyboard has performed wonderfully since I got it despite being dropped a few times. About two months ago it suddenly stopped working one day and refused to pair with either of my Macs or my iPad. Other Bluetooth gear worked fine. Just as I was about to throw it out and replace it the thing started working again.
Last week the same thing happened. After sitting for a few days with no batteries in it I was about to throw it away. Just for the heck of it I put batteries in and it started working again.
Has anybody else seen this behavior? And yes, I did try new batteries when it first went dead (both times). Batteries were not the issue.
