Does anyone know if its possible to pull an image from a current XP machine with Acronis True Image and install it on an iMac through bootcamp?
I know there is a potential for driver issues because of the different hardware in the Mac. My dad has this old machine and he'd like all his apps/settings transferred to his iMac.

Let me know if anyone has any insight, Thanks.

Better to use the file & settings transfer wizard in XP. To create a file of all his settings and files etc. Then doa clean install of XP on the iMac (assuming it's an older model . . the newest ones will only accept Windows 7 for Bootcamp use).

Once you have the clean install of XP use the file&settings wizard on the iMac install to copy all you settings/files back.

You can't do it. Acronis True Image will choke running on a Boot Camp partition. It will sometimes create the image correctly but is unable to restore it as a Mac does not have or use a BIOS.

Also, what you're proposing to do would violate the MS EULA.
