Thank you! :) I worked hard to earn the money to get myself this computer, and so I'm loving ever second that I spend using it!

Registered as a bioengineering student. Taking Chem 221, Math 251, Writing 121, and an Intro To Bioengineering class. Looking forward to putting this guy to as much use as possible.

We get free OS upgrades at our school too! Don't know about OSX, but I can get Win7 Ultimate 64bit for my engineering applications. :D

Only 4 classes? WTH - you on vacation or something? ;) They have an 'intro to bioengineering' class? You don't have to take a general intro to engineering class? Where I went to school - you weren't even allowed to declare your engineering major until you had your first 2 years? Maybe it was 1 year, now I don't remember - but not until you had a certain number of the general engineering classes behind you.

I don't know if that's technical writing or not but a writing class should be mandatory for all students.

Ahaha. I've got 15 credit hours with those 4 classes. And I have labs and recitations for a lot of them. There is an intro to engineering class, but that's for "General Engineering" majors who're not yet decided I guess. My class is for people who are interested in Chem, Bio, or Enviro engineering (CBEE). Our first 2 years are more general, so if I do decide to change majors (will stay within engineering, I believe) then I can do so without too many problems.

I don't know if that's technical writing or not but a writing class should be mandatory for all students.

WR 121 isn't technical writing, but don't worry, I get to take that sophomore or junior year. I forget which exactly. I also have to take a Communications 101 class. Public speaking and the likes. :)

Thanks guys!
