I applied for a position at Apple Retail a while ago. I went to the initial seminar thing where there was a large group of people and whatnot. Well, a few days later, I got an e-mail to complete the background check form. This is BEFORE my second interview, which I have coming up. Is this normal? All the information I've found so far has people filling out the background check after at least their second interview. Any information on this would be helpful. Thanks!

Who knows as this site has no connection with Apple. Tell us after the second interview perhaps and fingers crossed.

Stay cool about it, go through the second interview with as much professionalism as you can, and be yourself. But odds are if they're going to spend the money on a background check, they're interested. Wishing the best of luck to you and if you get the job, I hope you thoroughly enjoy it. It is a job, with the same frustrations and headaches as most jobs, but for me, it was the people that made the job special.
