Hello all,

I have an iPhone 3GS 16GB on the O2 network in the UK and i wondered if i would somehow be able to use it with my iBook G4 PPC 10.5.8 to connect to the internet?

O2's website is useless and i'm limited in my Mac knowledge.

Any ideas?

Regards

You could tether it via WiFi, but only if you JailBreak it, I think - & I'm pretty sure that sort of thing isn't approved of 'round these parts!

So, if you still want to pursue it, go to Google - but I'd not mention it around here if it borks your phone! ;)

What version of iOS is your iPhone running? I have 4.3.1 on my iPhone 4 and right there in the prefs is an option to create a personal hotspot.
