I've run a Boot Camp partition with Windows XP without problem but now want to remove the partition and return it to OS X, now using Windows XP through Parallels. But when I go the Boot Camp Assistant there is no option to "Restore the startup disk to a single volume." Instead I'm faced with a screen wanting me to download Windows support software doesn't work even when I tried to. I've attached opening shots. What now? Is there another way to remove the partition or a way to fix Boot Camp?

I'm running a late 2009 Mac Mini with 2.26Ghz, 2GB RAM and OS X 10.6.7. Boot Camp Assistant is 3.0.4 though the Windows side of Boot Camp is I think 3.1.

I hope you've re-installed Windows in Parallels and you're not using the BootCamped Windows volume?

Thanks. No. Not a problem. I never liked running Boot Camp as a Virtual Machine. Too many problems.

I would like to ask, is parallel like ubuntu or puppy?

Thanks! I had xP Pro on my Boot5 Camp partition and when it went south, I couldn't reinstall it and this forum just answered why. Can't imagine why no one told me this before!!
