Are there drivers avalable for Quickcam messenger

I have bought a Logitech quickcam messenger webcam for my G5 power mac.

I have loaded the drivers and there is no reponse from the quickcam,I have read that this camaera is not compatible with Apple macs but if this is the case why does it ship with drivers?

If anyone knows of any drivers that will work with this camera it would be greatly appriciated.

As far as I know, there's only a couple Logitech cams that will work with a Mac. Look on the packaging and see if Mac OSX is supported; I don't think it is. I personally use a Quick Cam 4000 and this software:

Even though Logitech makes Mac drivers for the 4000, iChat will not utilize the video functions unless you install the iChatUSB cam software. It's $10 and well worth it.
