Hi everyone,
We're aware of the response issues with the site over the last 24 hours. The iNET network is currently experiencing a DDOS attack which is causing period slow response times.

The network gurus are working to mitigate it so know it's being handled, but you may experience some slowness until it's fully mitigated.

I wondered about the slowdown yesterday. Is it the classic, we will take you down unless you write us a cheque attack, or have we somehow peeved off Anonymous?

Yay - it appears to have been 'mitigated'. I thought the sentence of deportation to Canada was a bit much but - hey - you do the crime...etc... :P Seriously though - was definitely annoying - glad it's been remedied. :)

Hehe... I saw a polar bear chewing on it this morning...:DSo you're close by...this should make this easier. ;)

Back on topic, the site was slow earlier but it seems to be up and running smoothly again.

*Off I go to find my ban hammer*Hang-on, maybe they meant that deporting Americans to Canada is harsh on the Canadians... ;P

It wasn't aimed specifically at us, it was an attack elsewhere on the iNET network. We didn't make anyone angry, so you need to try harder to do that! :P

You're not the only heavily-trafficked forums to get hit with this. They got a popular aviation forum in the past few days too. *mad*

We never get to have any sort of fun around here.
