windows does not support the hfs mac file system
\you could use the commercial MacDrive app or this
Catacombae - HFSExplorer
or intstall ubuntu on the pc to allow the the PC to see a mac formatted drive and then copy the files to windows
Otherwise format the drive to MS DOS (fat 32) so that the mac and PC can both access the drive
