Airport will only let me on the web brower

Hello I just got a Ibook with Airport wifi. Mac os X 10.2.8 is the version of OS X that it has on it. Their is two problems I'm having . One is it will only let me on any other Netscape web browser. But when it is wired in it will let me use any other one. The last one is I can't listen to the radio in Itunes. But when it is wired in it works just fine. Do you think if i update to OS X 10.3.9 would work. (I have the iBook on my guest network)

Been so long since I have used 10.2 Jaguar. It should all work but 10.2 is old and unsupported.

What are the specs of that iBook? 10.4 would be an even better choice depending on the iBook and amount of RAM it has.

Even 10.3 is rather old and only old Software will work with it.

It has 256MB's of Ram and PowerPC 800MHz, CD drive.

Power PC G3 800 or G4 800?

256Megs RAM is a bit low for even 10.3 leave alone 10.4.

I just want the wireless issue fix. I'm new to mac OS X so i don't know what to do when things like this happens.

Well I install 10.3 on the ibook the wireless issue still happend so i did a clean insatll and now it works just fine.

It was probably a firewall setting on the Mac itself. The Re-Instal reset the firewall to defautl, which is OFF.
