I just got a company car and it doesn't have a stereo that recognizes MP3 files or have an input for auxiliary. What settings do I need to burn music to a CD so the car stereo will recognize the CD?

Thank you

Put all the tracks you want on the disc in a playlist. Once you've settled on a list, right click the playlist and select "Burn Playlist to Disc." Make sure though that the length of the playlist doesn't exceed the length of the disc (IIRC, it's 80min).

Thank you for the response, but does that address the format issue being I don't have a MP3 player?

When you click the burn menu option, a dialog will popup allowing you choose some settings. Make sure to select "audio CD."

thomas22: your information is incorrect, please read the OP's post. He has to make an *audio CD*, not a data CD, in order to play in his car stereo. Your advice will not work.

Also take note that MP3 files are compressed. When the same file is converted back to audio it's going to take up a considerable amount of space on the disk. Be prepared for that and make sure you have a bunch of disks on hand if you have lots of MP3 files to convert.

chscag's point is worth noting. A CD can hold 700MB of data or 80 minutes of audio. There's a reason that both of those values are printed on the box/sleeve/disc itself. If you're going to make an audio CD, you have to pay attention to the audio value (80 minutes) and not the data value (700MB). There's quite a difference - 80 minutes of MP3s won't be anywhere near 700MB but as chscag noted, MP3s are converted when burned to a disc for audio CD purposes.
