So I used Bootcamp to create a partition, and then using rEFIt installed Ubuntu and now I have a dual-boot! Anyway, There are some things Id like to do from within OSX, and dislike having to reboot so much...

So, what are my steps to use VMFusion now? Will I have to reinstall Ubuntu in some other fashion or can I just install VMFusion in OSX and go from there? Ive googled and read but Im not clear on this, Thanx!

If you install VMWare Fusion, you'll have to install Ubuntu again within Fusion in order to create a VM for it. The only exception is if you had installed Windows via Boot Camp, then Fusion could use the Boot Camp partition with Windows as a VM.

Using rEFIt is nice (I use it for dual booting to Windows 7) since it's very configurable, however, it does require a reboot. With Fusion there is no reboot required. But like I stated above, you will need to install Ubuntu again to create the necessary VM.
