Hi,
I am trying to connect my Macbook Pro to an existing, working internet connection. It looks like it is connected to this network, as there is a checkbox next to it in the AirPort icon menu. However, there is no internet connection. When I use Network Diagnostics in an attempt to resolve the issue, I have a green light on the 1st 2 steps: Airport, and Airport Settings. There is an orange light next to Network Settings, and there is a red light on ISP, Internet, and Server. The steps I take in Network Diagnostics are:
1. Select Location: I choose 'Automatic'.
2. Choose network port configuration: I select 'AirPort'.
3. Select the wireless network you want to join: I select the network, and am prompted for the password. I enter this, and the orange light next to Network Settings changes from orange to red. However, it reverts to orange 5 seconds later. The red lights on red light on ISP, Internet, and Server do not change.
I am then prompted to restart the router, which I already tried, and which didn't resolve the issue.
Any assistance to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
