A few days ago, way before the network got hacked i was able to run get online and game. Originally my ps3 could no obtain an ip for the router, but i reset the router and took the password off and it worked fine. Since I run very fast internet, I needed to put my password back on so people wouldn't be stealing it or slowing it down.

So my problem is as follows with a wireless 2.4GHZ Linksys router.

When going through either easy or custom set up on the PS3, and entering all the correct information, my ps3 fails to find the ip. Previously, when the password was removed, it was able to find the ip easily. Yes ive made sure im entering the correct password on my ps3 to access the router.

Ive posted this around the internet, and haven't found a solution yet, so I figured I would give this board a try since many use PS3.
