Panther = speaker clicking?

It appears that after installing Panther, my speakers have started making an occasional "clicking" sound. I thought this had been addressed in 10.2.8 (although I didn't have a problem even before updating), but has anyone else experienced this with Panther?

yeah i have an ibook and have that problem too. only when the computer starts up though
