Apple is unsurprisingly looking to bring its new Thunderbolt port to new devices beyond the MacBook Pro, the notoriously secretive company has revealed in new job listings.
I figure this means we will see an MBA refresh fairly soon since the increased connectivity will be a big plus on that platform (obviously, I agree this depends on actually seeing TB compatible devices on Market).
In a related vein I still am hoping to see some reasonably priced Airplay compatible speakers/boomboxes (ie under $200).
Same here. I'm buying the first HD that comes out with Thunderbolt - most likely Lacie. I e-mailed OWC for a comment on their schedule for adding Thunderbolt - but they wouldn't comment. I'd rather buy theirs - but first to market gets my cash.

I do believe Intel said Lacie was the first company to create a fully working unit that was ready for consumers, and that it would come out "soon after TB airs."
For me, it won't really matter when the first one's come out, as I don't even have TB.
