Now c'mon, REALLY?!

Haven't we already said enough about his health? He appeared at the release of the second generation iPad event! (Not to mention he also announced it).

We get that he has health issues and that comes under concern, but really?

Investors in the Walt Disney Co. voted to re-elect Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs to the company's board of directors on Wednesday, going against the advisement of a prominent federation of labor unions.

I would have voted him back simply for his creativity and influence, but I have to admit that they have a point here:

“Jobs’ poor attendance in three of the past four years, and recent leave of absence from his primary employer, raises questions about his ability to fulfill his responsibilities as a director of the company,” ISS wrote in a recommendation to shareholders.

How can you have an absence from your self? As Jobs is self employed. Runs his own company.

^ Actually, that particular comment is valid. Apple, as a corporation, is no more Steve Jobs' than it is ours. Steve is both a shareholder and an executive. But he's still an employee.
