Hello folks,

Like many people on this lovely forum I had upgraded from my iPad 1 to an iPad 2. Both are 3G.

2 weeks ago, I signed up for a month of 3G service on the iPad 1, now that I have th iPad 2 how do I transfer the remaining time left on the 3G to the iPad 2. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :D

Wouldnt you just switch the sim card from the old model to the new one?

The service and the numbers will be on the sim and not on the Ipad itself.

let us know if that works

But otherwise, I would say no can do. The $15 investment stays with the iPad.

I was under the impression that AT&T had to change the IMEI number in their system in order to transfer the account info. At least that's what I was told when I inquired about keeping my unlimited data plan with my iPad if I upgraded to the iPad 2.

I need to call them to see what they'll do. Otherwise I will swap out the sim card.
