Im relatively new to xcode and cocoa, but Im making a program in cocoa that requires a vertical and horizontal scroll. I've had no trouble with the code, except that I have two undeclared variables (theImage) and (theWindow) that i haven't declared. Does anybody know how to declare a window and an image in cocoa? if so, could you give guidelines as to how to accomplish that? any help would be greatly appreciated

Huh?

Assuming you are talking about OS X coding, not iOS...

Look into NSImage, NSImageView, CGImage, etc for images.

Look at NSWindow for windows.

Sounds to me that you should get a good book.
