Hello everyone. This is my first post and usually I consider myself pretty resourceful for finding answers to my tech support questions. Anyway, I moved yesterday into a new apartment so I just had internet turned on today.

I have a MBP that is connected wirelessly to an Airport Extreme. I am using it right now to connect to the internet.

My problem is that I can't connect anything else to it, even though I have provided a correct password. The only 2 devices I've tried are my iPhone and my PS3. The iPhone has a checkmark next to my network, but isn't actually connected. The PS3 says that it has timed out trying to obtain the IP address.

Anyone know why I can connect my laptop wirelessly, but not my iphone or PS3?

Thank you!

If you disconnect your MBP - can something else connect?

Do you have DHCP setup?

If you have DHCP setup - how many addresses are you putting out?

If you don't have DHCP - are you sure you have the proper static IP settings?
