Trouble streaming media to Xbox

Ive got an Iomega 2TB usb drive that i've got hooked up to a media adapter, which I have no trouble with streaming / moving media from my macbook pro.

I've been trying to stream music / movies to my sons Xbox from the nas drive but am having some problems with it.
The Xbox can see the network drive and 1 folder in there (bizarre!), but nothing else.. (it's got lots of audio and video on it)

Has anyone got any ideas, as I've been looking all day and am not getting very far...

I use Connect360, it is very easy. Nullriver Software : Products : Connect360

Does the medialink app allow streaming from NAS to PS3?
