My mother in law said the same. The only type of computer entering this house from now is is a Mac!

Have fun :)

New guy here also, just got my first Mac on Saturday, although I have been on computers since '83 - I am having the most fun, in over 15 years on a computer. No stress, so easy to use.

Yeah but I think he's saying only the first 13 years were any fun. I can see how after that it would get less so. I've been using computers since about the same time and using the old Texas Instruments computers (and then the first Macs) was fun, but after getting mired down in the Windows world, the fun took a back seat to the frustration.

Im with dero, I've had a macbook for only a few months now, got it just before my move out to Australia and I love it. My family loved it too, my parents who are in their early 60s and getting ready to retire and are computer illiterate, want to get one! :D

Hi! Keep spreading the word. The 'PC world' just don't believe there can be so much difference.

Ditto for me. No issues, All my photography related software companies gave me a cross-platform swap or their licenses allowed multi-platform installation. One company that I had three photoshop plugins from even upgraded me to the full 7 product suite for free when I had an issue. Upgrading my RAM and HD was a no brainer.

After a few months of enjoying my iMac, I can now say that PC has inserted many points between 1 and 2 making it that you have to do
1.2, .3, .4, .5, .6, ... before you actually get to 2.
Meanwhile, Mac goes directly from 1.0 to 2.0 and THAT'S IT!!!!!
Welcome to the world of computering, as it should be.
