A warning to people.
Airport Express Firmware 6.2 has been the cause of all my problems I have since discovered. Once installed I can no longer surf the web wirelessly - I have no idea why. However when i re-flash the firmware with 6.11 I have no problems.
Just a heads up in case it affects other users.
